Data breach Microsoft customer records leaked

Type of data breach: 250 million support requests visible online
Microsoft announced that 250 million customer records of users and support requests were leaked and available online just before the new year. The support requests date back to 2005. The data breach lasted two days before security researchers reported it to Microsoft.
