Data breach at the Bavarian Red Cross: Health data possibly transferred to Facebook

The State Office for Data Protection Supervision has started an investigation against the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) because health data (such as drug use or diabetes) was possibly transferred to Facebook. The transmission as well as the assignment to Facebook profiles would have been possible through the Facebook plugin on the website of the blood donation service.
