Data such as mobile phone numbers, addresses and birthdays of almost 90,000 customers of the bonus program Priceless Specials have appeared on the Internet. In further investigations, previously unknown persons were also able to find a list of unencrypted credit card numbers. Mastercard blamed a "third party" for the leak on Tuesday. The platform of the bonus program was then closed down by Mastercard.

Serious data protection breach, as credit card data is particularly sensitive. It is advisable to exchange your credit card as a precaution, even if you are unsure whether you are actually affected.
