Robin Data GmbH and Bornemann AG enter into a strategic partnership

Bundled competences in the area of data protection and information security

Robin Data GmbH, a provider of software solutions in the field of data protection and information security, is launching a strategic partnership with Bornemann AG. The focus is on the Robin Data software as a rapidly growing platform for the implementation of a digital data protection management system for companies, in conjunction with data protection consulting by Bornemann Consulting GmbH, a subsidiary of Bornemann AG. The partnership completes the on-premises offering, while Bornemann AG hosts the Robin Data software for its own customers.

Bornemann AG is a medium-sized family business that develops innovative GPS systems and combines positioning technology and sensors with intelligent application software to make the everyday processes of companies and municipalities even more efficient and sustainable. In doing so, Bornemann AG has a Europe-wide customer base that already includes more than 28,000 satisfied business customers. It has a stake in both Robin Data GmbH and Bornemann Consulting GmbH, which provides data protection services for Bornemann AG. It creates and distributes data protection concepts and additionally acts as data protection officer for external companies.

Robin Data GmbH, as the manufacturer of the "Robin Data" software, offers companies and organisations functions for setting up and maintaining a digital data protection management system. With the partnership with Bornemann AG, joint synergies are to be used even more efficiently, which primarily concerns consulting and the sale of data protection solutions.

The Robin Data software not only relieves data protection officers of routine tasks, but also creates more time for more complex data protection tasks and their implementation. By using the ISO-certified software, the requirements of the GDPR can be implemented digitally and more efficiently. Customers benefit from digital collaboration on one platform and fulfil proof and accountability obligations for data protection through automatically generated activity reports.
